Season 8 – Emirates NBD Classics presents enchanting evenings of Hindustani classical music, featuring the legends and Doyens of the Hindustani Classical Music industry.

On June 22, 2019, Emirates NBD Classics Season 8 is proud to present, the world-premiere of Ustad Shujaat Khan Collective – A classical blend of Sufi, Ghazal & Folk Music. The premiere will feature the world renowned Hindustani classical music legend Ustad Shujaat Khan and will be accompanied by Azaan Khan on Acoustic guitar & Vocals, Anil Chawla on Keyboard, Aveleon Giles Vaz on Drums, Makrand Sanon and Sarthak Pahwa on Percussions and Danik Ghosh on Bass for the first time at Dubai Opera.


Ustad Shujaat Hussain Khan

Shujaat Husain Khan (born 19 May 1960) is an Indian musician and sitar player of the Imdadkhani gharana (school of music). He has recorded over 60 albums and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best World Music Album for his work with the band Ghazal with Iranian musician Kayhan Kalhor. He also sings frequently.

  • VIP Boxes have fixed seating. All other Boxes have loose chairs.
  • Ticket sales are final and no exchange of performance dates, times or seats is available once your booking is confirmed.
  • Times are approximate and subject to change at any time. The show duration is estimated to be approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
