A good news for all the automobile fans in the Emirates, the most anticipated automaker Tesla has launched its operations in Dubai. Yes, that's something every car lover in Dubai was expecting to happen. The major American automotive company recently announced its plan to bring their cars to the United Arab Emirates. This initiative will take Dubai a step further in order to establish itself as a global financial and sustainable powerhouse.
Elon Musk, the brain behind Tesla, attended the World Government Summit in Dubai and made an announcement about the company and their plans to invest tens of millions of dollars in the UAE market. He also stated that they plan to start a shop and service station in Abu Dhabi in the next year. While speaking to the media, Musk added "Shifting car buyers from petrol to electric would probably be the company’s biggest challenge in the region."
Currently, there are around 26 charging stations across the UAE and the company plans to install 50 more Tesla destination chargers in the country.

The first store launched includes a pop-up shop in Dubai Mall, a Tesla Ranger support service and a service centre.
